Our Cookie Policy is Simple
Sentinel.0x does not use cookies. We do not track you, store data about you, or use any form of browser-based tracking technology.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites typically store on your device to remember information about you. They are commonly used for tracking, analytics, advertising, and maintaining user sessions. Many websites use cookies extensively to monitor user behavior.
2. We Do Not Use Cookies
Sentinel.0x has made a deliberate choice not to use cookies or similar tracking technologies. This means:
- No tracking cookies
- No analytics cookies
- No advertising cookies
- No session cookies set by our website
- No persistent cookies
- No third-party cookies from our code
3. No Tracking Technologies
In addition to not using cookies, we also do not use:
- Tracking pixels or web beacons
- Browser fingerprinting
- Local storage for tracking purposes
- Session storage for tracking purposes
- Google Analytics or similar services
- Social media tracking scripts
- Advertising identifiers
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 Wallet Providers
When you connect your Web3 wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.), your wallet provider may use local storage or cookies for its own functionality. This is controlled by your wallet software, not by Sentinel.0x.
We have explicitly disabled analytics in our wallet connection integration:
4.2 Blockchain RPC Providers
We use Infura to read blockchain data. These are standard API requests and do not involve cookies or tracking on our end.
5. Browser Storage
Sentinel.0x does not use browser local storage or session storage for any purpose. Any data stored in your browser comes from:
- Your wallet provider (for wallet connection functionality)
- Your browser itself (standard caching of static files)
You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings without affecting your ability to use our website.
6. Why We Don't Use Cookies
Our decision not to use cookies aligns with our core values:
- Privacy First: We believe in respecting user privacy by not collecting data
- Decentralization: As a decentralized protocol, we minimize centralized data collection
- Transparency: Your blockchain interactions are public; everything else remains private
- Simplicity: No cookie banners or consent popups to deal with
7. No Cookie Consent Required
Because we do not use cookies, you will not see cookie consent banners or popups on our website. There is nothing to consent to. You can browse our website freely without any tracking.
8. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Our commitment to not using cookies will remain unchanged. Any updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
